Our timing was impeccable - we had picked as our Pilgrimage date the same day as the last England v Germany football match to be played under the twin towers at Wembley Stadium. This meant that the pubs were frantically busy (at least at first). On the plus side, it at least meant that The Head of Steam opened on time...
