An unusual Underground Stationary
This is the whole game.
The current state of play is:
- Doug: Tottenham Court Road
(move #1)
- Kev: Tottenham Court Road (Underground Stationary)
(move #2)
- Stephen: I don't believe that that is allowed in the Farrington rules, except from the Circle Line.
(move #3)
- Kev: The way I read it was that Underground Stationaries could be played once per game, on any station. Normally such a move is risky and largely unhelpful to the player, but it's fairly safe on Tottenham Court Road.
(move #4)
- acb: I think that Kev is right. Tottenham Court Road is allowed under the 1963 ruling.
(move #5)
- Steve: Well if we're accepting that last move, Dollis Hill
(move #6)
- Jonathan: Dollis Hill (self reverse)
(move #7)
- Jonathan: Dollis Hill (self reverse)
(move #8)
- Jonathan: Dollis Hill (self reverse)
(move #9)
- Jonathan: Dollis Hill (Reverse Latimer Invocation with Cromwell Road (A4) shift west
(move #10)
- Jonathan: Damn: I didn't entirely mean that to happen! Should be safe though. The T.C.Road stationary prevents any moves up the northern line.
(move #11)
- Kev: You swine.
(move #12)
- Kev: Redbridge
(move #13)
- Jonathan : Swine eh? Well, I will just have to score a few more points out of this one then!
(move #14)
- Jonathan: Southwark
(move #15)
- Rob: Fiendish even. Well there can be only one answer to that..... Finchley Central. And I thought this was a Gentleman's game.
(move #16)
- Stephen(Who is sure he is not Steve): Temple. A move that will hopefully calm down this game so we can get on with the serious contemplation required to deal with the previous ``Southwark'' move.
(move #17)
- Kev: Snaresbrook
(move #18)
- Steve ( Who is Steve and would appreciate not being lumped together with Stephen in the league table): Virtual Station Ongar
(move #19)
- Doug: Now this is getting interesting here. Thanks to Kev, I can double-shunt Jonathan AND put a mark down by playing Royal Oak.
(move #20)
- Kev: Er, sorry about that, Jonathan.
(move #21)
- Jonathan: Well, thank you VERY much. You owe me one, Kev.
(move #22)
- Jonathan: Still, no point in mooching. I will have to claw my way back in and play Eltham.
(move #23)
- Jonathan: That's if I am not entitled to an adjournment. Referee?
(move #24)
- Ref: Sorry, we must get on. No time to waste.
(move #25)
- acb: Hainault (an inverted Phibbs substraddle)
(move #26)
- Steve: Seven Sisters
(move #27)
- Doug: Mornington Crescent
(move #28)
- Doug: Unlucky there, acb - but my mark at Royal Oak still stands; it was a very clever try with the Phibbs substraddle. And I think Jonathan deserves great credit for recovering so well.
(move #29)
- Jonathan: Thanks. At least I will come out of here with some points, unlike Kev.
(move #30)
- Jonathan: Thanks. At least I will come out of here with some points, unlike Kev.
(move #31)
- Kev: Alright, don't rub it in. I was going for a straight win, rather than playing for points (and, let's face it, there's nothing more tedious than an MC game where everyone's just trying to get the most points they can).
(move #32)
- Jonathan: True, but there is nothing more annoying than having it all thrown in your face thanks to someone else's mistake.
(move #33)
- Brett Leslie: You: Ya you whats up???
(move #34)
- :
(move #35)
