11 moves and you're out
This is the whole game.
The current state of play is:
- Kev: Marble Arch
(move #1)
- Rob: Russell Square (Thus opening the way for the 'King's Cross' manoeuvre).
(move #2)
- Simon: Tottenham Court Road (Yes, there was King's Cross, but Tottenham Court Road seemed safer.
(move #3)
- acb: Aldgate East (the Hall fiancetto)
(move #4)
- Steve: Moving south, Southfields, and you can't get much more south than that
(move #5)
- Jonathan: Did I mention that my great grandfather is Sydney Hall, ex world champion and inventor of the Hall fiancetto?
(move #6)
- Jonathan: Dollis Hill (predictable, but sound)
(move #7)
- Kev: Alperton
(move #8)
- Steve: Pimlico, beware the Oulds inclination
(move #9)
- Rob: Charing Cross. Suitably without inclination, I think.
(move #10)
- Stephen(Not Steve): St. John's Wood
(move #11)
- Kev: Mornington Crescent! (You shouldn't have discarded the inclination so readily...)
(move #12)
- Kev: A nice game - not overly simplistic and not too complicated. A shame that Rob and Stephen chose not to follow up the inclination, though - it could have made for a more exciting game if applied correctly.
(move #13)
- Jonathan: One cannot help but frown once again. TWELVE moves not overly simplistic?
(move #14)
- Kev: It's possible to have a hundred-move game that's simplistic, of course - the eleven-move game above (your first words were a comment, remember) was, objectively, rather complex without being too confusing. Just right, in my opinion.
(move #15)
- Jonathan.: Oh well then. 11 moves is even better. :-\
(move #16)
