Nackington Road Rules Game
This is just the last 40 moves. You can see more moves, or the whole game.
The current state of play is:
- Jonathan: Having done a bit of research, I must oint out the intruiging similarity between this game and the eighth round heat of the 1953 Kensington Opne. Beck's has been the same throughout, and the west end has become pseudo-wild, a rare event indeed. To allow f
(move #56)
- Jonathan: ...or this, I will play Farringdon Road, wild
(move #57)
- Steve: Dollis Hill, foaming at the mouth.
(move #58)
- Ian H: Temple - Raising the Gladstone constant to 87!!!
(move #59)
- Kev: Good grief. This could get very nasty. Warwick Avenue, lowering the Gladstone constant to 83...
(move #60)
- Ian H: East Cheem - raising the gladstone constant to 84.43526781
(move #61)
- Hagbard: Let's put a stop to all this Gladstoning. Westminster, by way of a Disraeli.
(move #62)
- Hagbard: Gladstoning's buried. I got that one from Daevid Allen. Anyone going this year?
(move #63)
- Jonathan: Glastonbury (I will be there - home field or somewhere, same as last year, see you there, I think not.)
(move #64)
- Steve: It's obvious how to get out of this one. Wapping, not only does it open all tations affected by nackington rules but collapses gladstone's constant to 43.2
(move #65)
- Clauss: Taking advantage of Grindrod's straddle: Pinner.
(move #66)
- Ian H: Yes i will be there too - Camden Town ( Well the cure are playing so i just had to )
(move #67)
- Eristophanes: Elephant & Castle, wild.
(move #68)
- Eristophanes: Whoops. Just how on earth did Yoz do it then?
(move #69)
- Rob: Fixed it... better? You put <a> href="....." instead of <a href="...">
(move #70)
- Hagbard: I must admit to being more of a WOMAD man myself, so Warren Street
(move #71)
- Bill: Highgate for the pubs
(move #72)
- acb: Morden (no comment required)
(move #73)
- Dave: Bank (no comment offered)
(move #74)
- Clauss: From Bank to.......Blackhorse Road (Lloyd's straddle)
(move #75)
- acb: Aldgate East (rather interesting situation here -- all lines are arranged in a pyramid, with the Central line on top, followed by Northern and Bakerloo. Things will get a bit more complex from now on.)
(move #76)
- Steve: Here we go again....Aldwych, brining the pyramid dangerously close to collapse.
(move #77)
- Ian H: ( balancing precariously <-misspelt i know ) .... erm Finchley and Frogam
(move #78)
- acb: King's Cross St. Pancras (the Bakerloo and District lines exchange places and Farringdon is wild.)
(move #79)
- Hagbard: Claim Farringdon
(move #80)
- Ian H: BZZZZZZZZZT!!! Can you claim farringdon so soon after a pyramid has been initiated???
(move #81)
- Kev: Of course - it's a third up from the base-line.
(move #82)
- Dave: I'm not sure what's so great about Farringdon that Hagbard feels he should claim it, but I can find out easily enough. Reclaim Farringdon.
(move #83)
- Doug: You poor fool, Dave. Waterloo Bridge. I'll designate three Section points on the crossing.
(move #84)
- Audience: We, the audience, don't seem to be playing at a very high standard, do we?
(move #85)
- Ian H: Aha !! using those extra designated points i can go to Heathrow terminal 4
(move #86)
- Dave: I can thwart you evil plans easily. Morden. Ha!
(move #87)
- Doug: Oh how swiftly the brave can come a cropper: way out East to Stepney Green. Four distinct stations Buggled en route (viz>Monument, Tower Hill, Algate East and Whitechapel) AND I get credit for a substansive loop induction AND I loosen all Picadilly Line stations with working escalators AND I gain sentinel rights on the whole DLR system AND this line is too long for my browser to cope with.
(move #88)
- Doug: Guess all those evenings spent poring of Kilmore were worth it after all!
(move #89)
- Hagbard: Damn right I can claim Farringdon, doug; who d'you think was initially responsible for the pyramid in the first place? Jo Malik?
(move #90)
- Hagbard: I must admit, I am quite impressed with that last move though. But..... I'm going to create a dissonance, with Oakwood.
(move #91)
- acb: Shepherd's Bush. Never whistle while you're pissing.
(move #92)
- Steve: From the size of Reynolds integrating factor I would take this game to be on its last legs, Camden Town
(move #93)
- Ian H: Indeed it is - Mornington Crescent !!
(move #94)
- Ian H: (Winner's Comments) : Well theres a turn up for the books, the dissonance coupled with the whitsling created a catastrophic fluttering in the pyramid, bringing the whole structure crashing elegantly to the ground. After that it was simple, anyone could have won from here but you just have to be in the right place when it happened
(move #95)
