No Objections Please
This is just the last 40 moves. You can see more moves, or the whole game.
The current state of play is:
- Steve: Sorry to quibble but I can't quite see which way we are splitting, are we moving to the left or the right.
(move #80)
- Alasdair: As Binton's shunt was used in reverse, then the split is to the left. Well, there is flooding in Barnstaple, so Elephant and Castle.
(move #81)
- acb: Finchley Road (and up)
(move #82)
- Ian H: Green Park and left!!
(move #83)
- Saggy: Barkingside - and sideways!
(move #84)
- Kev: Onwards and downwards. Morden.
(move #85)
- Alasdair: Logical Progression. Vauxhall.
(move #86)
- Doug: Logical progression my foot! The Chelsea Ruling puts the entire Victoria line on an extremely low Footing after a Bank/Euston split (never mind which way), and you must increase your Footing by half if you staying south of the river over a single move. Besides, you'll also find that most people consider a BR interchange station three moves after a Zone 1 station to be extremely poor manners.
(move #87)
- Doug: As previously noted, although etiquette does not have the status accorded to the Rules (and Additions, Abbreviations and Aggravations agreed to by all consenting parties), it is of prime importance.
(move #88)
- Alasdair: Yes, you are quite right, I'm terribly sorry. It actually was in Inverse Logical Progression, which I suppose is illegal. Logical Progression would have been Bond Street, then Vauxhall. Ruling, Ref?
(move #89)
- Doug: Not technically illegal, but certainly immoral. We could let you off and pretend you said Vauxhall
(move #90)
- Ian H: Let him off!!! For playing an inverse logical progression that was originally declared as logical!!??!! The very fact that it was BR interchange is worthy of docking 2 points at least....
(move #91)
- Alasdair: Hang on, Ian. All that I did was mis-declare the Progression. In this case, anyway, it would only have been part of a Triple Helsinki, and you know how difficult they are. I just got confused, and turned the wrong way.
(move #92)
- Doug: I'm in a forgiving mood today, but I guess we need a ruling if others object.
(move #93)
- Alasdair: Agreed. I'll go by whatever ruling you guys see fit.
(move #94)
- Dave: I suggest that Alisdair should be banned from moving to blue stations for 12 moves, and that the Reverse Nolan that he has been craftily building up (That no-one else seems to have noticed) should be dismantled.
(move #95)
- Dave: And I suggest the same for Alasdair. Sorry about that.
(move #96)
- Alasdair: So that leaves me back at Bank, right?
(move #97)
- acb: Monument (Hah!)
(move #98)
- Steve: I don't know you're all being a bit soft on Alasdair here, I mean in my day it would have been 6 of the best with a belt at least if not a good flogging, but I suppose we move with the times, send him on holiday and tell him not to do it again. Errmm..... Temple HAHAHA
(move #99)
- Ian H: Moving directly above temple (metaphorically) Angel
(move #100)
- acb: Blackfriars (keeping the theme)
(move #101)
- Doug: Wide open here ... back to Rotherhithe, whence we came.
(move #102)
- acb: Baker St., blocking off Dollis Hill for good (or at least until Chigwell, Amersham and Pimlico are all free)
(move #103)
- acb: which, of course, is not all that likely to happen anytime soon.
(move #104)
- Ian H: Why on earth not? i dont see whats wrong with going to pimlico from here???
(move #105)
- Jonathan: I offer a triple head to head gambit duel. Marble Arch, played six times wild.
(move #106)
- Alasdair: Ouch. Anyone care to help patch things up? I think Heisenburg should work here, but requires at least three players to be in Nip.
(move #107)
- Alasdair: Anyway, hoping to be supported...Embankment.
(move #108)
- Dave: Yes, I'll help you - Monument.
(move #109)
- Kev: Likewise. Goldhawk Road. The three of us are in Nip, and Heisenburg can now be applied by any non-Nip player.
(move #110)
- Ian H: Ok then i can capitlalise by playing Barons Court - and thus apllying the heisenburg
(move #111)
- Jonathan: I throw a spanner in the works by un-applying it with a Golding Thistlewit around Manor House.
(move #112)
- Alasdair: But that's no defence against Mudchute!
(move #113)
- Ian H: devastatingly quick reactions from alasdair .. can jon get out of this one, tune in next move for the next exciting installment
(move #114)
- Steve: Warren Street, MC in 5
(move #115)
- Jonathan: Of course it isn't a defence against Mudchute. It is a bait FOR Mudchute, fools. Mornington Crescent, via a compound shunt. Thank you.
(move #116)
- Jonathan: (Winner's Comments): Never underestimate the power of the force.
(move #117)
- Steve: Hmmmmmmm........
(move #118)
- Alasdair: Comments: OH, ALL RIGHT, SO I FELL FOR IT! It's playing too many games at once that does it. I'm cutting down...
(move #119)
