Why Should I Listen To You?
Fragmented observations of a fractured lifestyle.
November 30, 2008 The Joy

As I have mentioned, I lost my job rather suddenly a couple of weeks ago.

However, I now find that I am rather suddenly in work again! The interview I had last Monday went very well indeed, to the point where I heard the next morning that they wanted to make me an offer. It was a very nice offer. I could hardly say now.

So, I will be starting my new job in a week. My first week will actually be down in Silicon Valley, hence my remarks about working on my story then. I will normally be working in my old stomping ground in Beaverton, just over the road from a former office location of mine, but the majority of the folks I will be working with will be in the Valley so I'll have to go and talk to them face to face every now and then.

I am still sad that Ambric did not work out. That was a great place to work. But the new job promises to be terrific too, I am just so relieved that I am not after all going to be jobless at Christmas again.

Excellent! Congratulations on the fast turnaround. I hope the new job will turn out to be splendid.
