We had quite a productive day yesterday, moving compost from one part of the garden to another.
Jen's back was feeling strong enough for her to do some weeding, and so we got the long bed alongside the fence at the side of the house covered with newspaper and then compost. The second half of the task was to move enough compost off the driveway so that we can get the van back in the garage.
So, we moved a third of what we bought. We might have bough too much. Again.
Unfortunately, that's pretty much it for heavy bouts of compost moving for a few weeks - we have other plans this next weekend, and then I have my knee surgery so I won't be lifting anything heavy for a little while.
It seems the guilt will continue for most of the summer.
