Why Should I Listen To You?
Fragmented observations of a fractured lifestyle.
July 21, 2005 Arrival

The waiting is over for our new baby.

David Russell Ellis was born on 18th July 2005. He weighed 9 lb 5 oz (4.2kg) and was 21" long (53cm). Thanks to his mother's excellent eating habits, that's not fat either - no Ben and Jerry's baby here!

It's been a challenge, but we are adjusting to having this amazing new little person in the house. He is a strong little thing, and loves to wave his arms about. He also has eyes a thousand miles deep...

The birthing stool was used, although not for birthing - it served the very important role of holding a fan to keep us cool. Oh, well. Good job I didn't put much energy into it really.
