Busy weekend just gone. I'm very tired today - not quite ulcer-ridden tired, but definitely a lot more exhausted than I would have been if we had, say, sat on the deck for the weekend.
We have knocked off a large number of project items though, which is rather good. The long list of "Things To Do Before The Baby Arrives" is bit shorter, which makes us both feel less stressed.
One of the things we did was to put together the crib (or cot) which arrived earlier in the week. It transpires that there is more than one size of crib mattress, and that the one we borrowed is a shade too short. We now have to go and see if we can find a mattress which will not leave a nice little finger-trapping gap.
I have been slightly appalled at the safety-obsessiveness which some of the items you can purchase speak of, and I find myself wondering if I am becoming as bad.

Most likely. Parents often seem to. But they usually redeem themselves in the end :)
