Slashdot is a news-free zone again today. I think the editors there need to learn the "less is more" principle.

I've always been a fan of the game played by the British media: which story is the April Fool? Having every story posted be a joke is (1) annoying, because you lose any possibilty of useful information being conveyed, and (2) unfunny.

Oh well.

In other news, my ulcer has been playing up again. I missed my medication for one day last weekend (we went away and I forgot my pills) and the symptoms of stomach pain, intestinal distress, and exhaustion came back almost immediately. I've been suffering the consequences ever since.

So, my delight at having been feleing vastly better for most of the last two months is rather tempered by the realisation that the meds I am on absolutely must be taken every single morning or I end up with a sudden and total relapse. Which sucks.

I have a follow up appointment with the doctor next week. That will be interesting.
