Why Should I Listen To You?
Fragmented observations of a fractured lifestyle.

We are coming up fast on six months of pregnancy. The baby is moving around, and is apparently able now to hear what's going on outside its warm and cozy home.

Since Jen and I are nothing if not readers, I've started reading to the baby.

I'm reading Terry Pratchett's Wyrd Sisters, because Jen hasn't read that one yet. Obviously I am not expecting the little tyke to understand any of what's going on; it's more to get it used to the sound of my voice.

Well, we'll see. If baby Ellis comes out declaiming Pratchettian bons mots then the experiment will have been more successful than expected.
