Yay, Poland!!

I may be living in a country where software patents are thought to be a Good Idea, but at least it looks like Europe won't have them. Thank goodness for that.

Actually, I say software patents are still seen as good here in the US - in point of fact there have been more and more noises from commentators, businesses and politicians that see some kind of reform as inevitable. Whether it will be enough is doubtful though, so I am really pleased that the dumbness will not infect Europe yet. It's a lot harder to get rid of these things once they exist.
