The NaNoWriMo community is very supportive, but it's very distracting. It's far too easy to get involved reading forum posts, browsing through the fascinating discussions on story design processes and character description techniques.

So instead of reading about the Snowflake Process, I'll just stick with laying words down on the page.

I must gather my tools.
