Back from holiday, but my mother is visiting now so although I have lots to write about there is little enough time to write.

Things I should be writing about include:

• holiday - 15 days, 3324 miles, 1187 digital photos, 250 film photos, and 12 parks. Excellent holiday all round, with some inevitable niggles. And "The Loneliest Road" is so not the loneliest road.
• running - ten days until the marathon, and I don't that good about it. As I wrote last time, I didn't manage my last long run and I also didn't run enough while we were away. Much of this is down to my twisting my ankle...
• house - office move is the last big project, some small projects to complete before we can call downstairs done.
• garden - we are reclaiming our outside corner.
• cats - mostly OK after our absence, although they gave our house sitter some problems.

More on these as time allows, although especially the running of course.
