Why Should I Listen To You?
Fragmented observations of a fractured lifestyle.

2x6:00-4:00/1:01:25 (5½ miles)

I'm just not doing the speed training any more. The breakdown in following the speed training schedule started the week before Helvetia, when I tried to do my intervals on the local track and got so bored going round in circles that I had to stop (although I was tired too), but since then I've been either too tired or troubled by niggling injury.

Today it was about niggling injury. I'm getting some irritation in my left knee, not painful but definitely there. My IT band is a little tender, and I'm thinking I should have done more physio exercises!

Anyway, this morning was a gentle five miler sticking to a comfortable and sustainable pace despite the best efforts of K who kept trying to run more quickly against his own stated intentions.

Nice outing, much cooler.

I forgot my Camelbak, and remembered my HRM. I got some bad chafing off the monitor sensor strap, however, so I won't be using that again for a little while.
