July 15, 2004 Shouting

I don't relish shouting matches, but when someone is shouting on your behalf it can be quite satisfying.

The carpet store we bought our lino from gave the installers a good talking to earlier today. Obviously we weren't actually party to the discussion, but the reaction of one of the guys at the store indicates how miffed they were with the standard of installation: "What do they think, that a blind person who wouldn't notice that lives there?"

The lino installers will be back tomorrow to fix things up.

In other news, the carpet is being installed now. Should be done by twoish this afternoon.

Looking forward to getting into the space.
