These pictures are the last couple I took of the final pieces of work which the builder did. Things have moved on a little since this, since Jen has been putting primer on the walls, but the rate of change has dropped rather so I shan't be posting pictures as often.
| This is what the taps look like once they're mounted. Unfortunately, they are a few degrees off true, but I don't know how we can fix that without dismantling the wall now. |
| The washer and drier, all stacked and ready. These were much easier to stack than we'd expected, but it would also have been much harder if the builder and his mate hadn't been doing the lifting! |
As I say, Jen has been putting PVA primer on the walls. The orange peel texture which went up in the family room and the office (and which smelt so bad while it was drying!) is difficult to get the primer onto since it has so many nooks and crannies. The primer is just white though, so it does not (rather sadly) look any different yet...
As I say, more once there's more to see.
