30 mins/30:43 (~3 miles)
Since it is Memorial Day, I ran from home today. I ran down Vermont Hill, had a bit of a trundle around Gabriel Park, and then ran back up Vermont Hill. This was a shorter hill workout than Saturday's, but in many places was steeper.
I also tried weighing myself before and after the run to try and establish how much fluid I lose while running. I'm not sure how accurate the scales were between weighings, or how useful it is to extrapolate from a three mile run to marathon distances, but I reckon I lost about a pound and a half in that time. That's quite quick.
The down side of this experiment was that I had to weigh myself. I feel better at the moment than I have in a long time, and my clothes are fitting better, but I weigh if anything slightly more than I did two months ago before starting this programme. Grr.
