The tiles are in around the bath. No need for these to go very far up the wall, just enough to provide a splashback around the bath.
The top of the tiling is level with the top of the half wall.
This patch in the ceiling is where the laundry chute used to be. The top of the chute has been used solely as a storage space for the mixer since we moved in to the house, and we didn't really think that we wanted washing dropping down into Jen's room!
