Why Should I Listen To You?
Fragmented observations of a fractured lifestyle.

10x30-30/32:22 (3½ miles)

I ran 22s at a slightly increased pace, and then just carried on to do a normal run. No speed work today for me.

Yoga last night really took it out of me. It's always difficult starting a new class when you're not very experienced in a discipline, because it's a different teacher and the style is often at odds with what you've already learnt. Indeed, I had the very discomfiting experience last night of simply not being able to do some of the poses, something which I haven't had much of with my Wednesday lunchtime class. It was still a worthwhile class, but it didn't make me feel as good.

So this morning I overslept, and was trudging around like a dog whose lost his bone while I was making breakfast. I very nearly didn't run at all because I was so tired, so I am not really surprised that I was unable to do my intervals.

I am thinking that if I'm going to persist with this Monday night class, then I'll have to move my intervals to Monday too. I can't see often being in any shape to run them after that kind of contortion!

That's a decision I can postpone, though - there's no yoga class next week because it's Memorial Day.
