Why Should I Listen To You?
Fragmented observations of a fractured lifestyle.

First and most exciting - the bath is in! And the plumbing, too. There's still work to be done on framing in, but at this point it is OK for the wall on the end of the bathroom to be built. You can also see the new sink cabinet just past the half wall, and the new toilet is installed.
Look, no water heater! Unfortunately, at least the one valve needs to stay because this controls the tap outside. Interesting to note the unfaded paint behind, too.
Where the water heater lives now. This move was done in only one day. Note the metal straps around the water heater. These are earthquake straps, because Portland is in a mildly tectonically active area. Nothing like California of course, but code requires straps.
The laundry area is coming together, too. That utility sink really works, which is rather exciting, and the electrics for the washer and drier are all in. Just need the drier vent now.
Behind the curtain... this is what's inside the laundry wall. This should be closed in soon.

Tomorrow we should be getting the texture put on the walls in the office and the family room,so more pictures there I am sure!
