Why Should I Listen To You?
Fragmented observations of a fractured lifestyle.
April 26, 2004 And So It Begins

I did not, in fact, spend any time at all this weekend in fiddling around with dagon since we needed to spend most of the time I had originally set aside for that in prep for the downstairs work.

Actually, Saturday was a strange day... I did my run first thing, then we went and looked at baths for the bathroom we're enlarging. We then rather lost it, because there were some bits of shopping we felt we needed to do and indeed did, but both of us had a nagging doubt at the back of our minds that this was not the right thing to be doing. But it was a nice day and we bought some things we needed.

We'd had our dinner and we were sitting around talking about the downstairs project when we remembered that we should have been moving stuff around although by that stage we were too tired to do anything physically demanding, so we did a walk through of the downstairs to see what there was in all the cupboards and where we would put things. We were reassured that we could in fact think of places to put everything which we intended to keep.

Yesterday I was rearranging the garage to make space, and then we pulled down some shelves that we want to keep from out of the laundry area.

So we've begun with the destruction.
