Selecting my T shirt for the day's wear this morning, my eye was irresistably drawn to my NTK Elite T shirt.

It's pretty deeply geeky that I even own this shirt, let alone that I like it and wear it, but there we are. It's a tribute to a great game that I hugely enjoyed playing and which (and this may in fact be the most important thing here) hardly anyone I work with could possibly understand.

... and suddenly it struck me that this year is the twentieth anniversary of Elite being published on the BBC Micro.

I feel very old.
