Yesterday was the first anniversary of our wedding.
We went to the coast for the weekend to celebrate. It was a lovely weekend - we did very little, which was exactly what we intended. We don't spend enough time simply enjoying each other's company so it was very pleasant to do so.
It's been a good year.

Sounds better than our first anniversary - we spoke for five minutes on the phone (I was in a bus on the Autobahn.....)
