We were staying in a condo on the coast over the weekend and found a Gideon Bible in the bedroom dresser. The style was much more lyrical than the paraphrased and reworded versions that Jen had (my Bible was a Good News Bible from my church-going days, but I had thrown it away many years ago when it became water damaged), and so we decided to get a copy of the same text when we got home.

Probably not a book to read in one go...
