We've had to put Bun Bun away. It's not that we're trying to make our house as anodyne as possible, but more that (as the estate agent put it) we want the buyer to look at the house not our stuff. Bun Bun is pretty unusual, so we're just putting him somewhere a little less obvious than at eye level by the door to the office.
He'll be back.

I feel your pain — we had to pack up 1500 books and move them and their shelves to an empty office at Johan's work place; having all four walls of a room lined with book-shelves does make it smaller! (Only two bookshelved walls was ok, though.)
Thank you for your support. We've packed away our books and stored the large book cases into the storage unit we have. The front room looks much more airy for that... we still have some books out, but they're ones we either use all the time or which we are likely to read in the next three months. And they're on little bookshelves which don't dominate the room.
